At Really Real Work, we take your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our real estate AI image enhancement platform. Please read this policy carefully. By using our Service, you consent to the data practices described in this statement.
Information We Collect
We collect information that you provide directly to us when you create an account, use our services, or communicate with us. This includes personal information such as your name, email address, billing address, and payment information. When you create an account through a third-party authentication provider (such as Google or GitHub), we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from that provider.
We automatically collect certain usage data when you interact with our platform, including your IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URLs, pages visited, time spent on pages, and other diagnostic data. This information helps us understand how our service is used and allows us to improve the user experience.
When you upload images to our platform for AI enhancement, we collect and temporarily store those image files. This includes the original images you upload, the AI-processed results, and any metadata associated with those images (such as EXIF data, file size, and dimensions).
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to provide, maintain, and improve our AI image enhancement services. This includes processing your uploaded images through our AI models, managing your account, handling transactions, and delivering the enhanced images back to you. Your account information is used to authenticate you and provide personalized access to your image gallery and processing history.
We may use aggregated and anonymized usage data to analyze trends, improve our AI models, and enhance the overall quality of our service. This data cannot be used to identify individual users. We may also use your email address to send you service-related notices, such as account verification, billing confirmations, and important updates about changes to our platform.
With your consent, we may send you marketing communications about new features, promotions, or related services. You can opt out of these communications at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any marketing email or by updating your notification preferences in your account settings.
Image Data & AI Processing
When you upload images to Really Real Work, your images are transmitted securely to our servers and processed through our AI enhancement pipeline. During processing, your images may be sent to third-party AI service providers (including OpenAI) for analysis and enhancement. These providers process your images solely for the purpose of delivering the requested enhancements and do not retain your images after processing is complete.
Your original uploaded images and AI-enhanced results are stored in our secure cloud storage (powered by AWS S3) for as long as your account remains active. You can delete individual images or your entire image library at any time through your account dashboard. When you delete images, they are permanently removed from our active storage within 30 days, though they may persist in encrypted backups for up to 90 days before being permanently purged.
We do not use your uploaded images to train our AI models unless you explicitly opt in to our model improvement program. Images that are part of the model improvement program are anonymized and stripped of all metadata before being used for training purposes.
Data Sharing & Third Parties
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We share your data only with trusted service providers who assist us in operating our platform, and only to the extent necessary for them to perform their services. These providers include:
- OpenAI — for AI image processing and enhancement
- Amazon Web Services (AWS) — for secure cloud storage and infrastructure
- Stripe — for payment processing
- NextAuth / Auth.js — for authentication services
- Vercel — for application hosting and analytics
Each of these providers is contractually obligated to protect your data and use it only for the specific purposes we have engaged them for. We may also disclose your information if required by law, such as in response to a subpoena, court order, or government request, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.
Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information and uploaded images. All data transmitted between your browser and our servers is encrypted using TLS 1.3 encryption. Images stored in our cloud infrastructure are encrypted at rest using AES-256 encryption. Access to your data is restricted to authorized personnel on a need-to-know basis, and all access is logged and monitored.
We conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments to identify and address potential threats. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your data, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee the absolute security of your information but are committed to promptly notifying affected users in the event of a data breach.
